This manual, released in January 2010 was produced by ATCRI for the training of journalists on tobacco control. The manual is designed to assist in the training of journalists across the continent on tobacco control issues and how to explore journalism to enhance public health. ATCRI staff developed the manual in collaboration with its consultants, and tobacco control advocates and journalism experts across the continent. It contains sections on Tobacco Control and FCTC, Issues in Tobacco, Improved Knowledge and Skills/ Framing for impact among others. The manual has been translated into French and Portuguese for wider accessibility. |
